The Dutch coach, who was dismissed by Liverpool after a disappointing second season despite winning the Premier League title in his debut campaign, has quickly become one of the most sought-after managers on the market. However, according to multiple reports, Slot has no intention of rushing back into club management and has turned down the opportunity to replace Marco Silva at Fulham.
Fulham are searching for a new head coach after Silva’s expected move to Benfica, and Slot was among the names considered for the vacancy. Yet the former Feyenoord manager has reportedly informed interested parties that he would prefer to wait for the right opportunity rather than jump straight into another Premier League job.
The decision comes less than a week after Liverpool ended Slot’s tenure following a difficult 2025-26 campaign.
