German heavy metal legends Accept have unveiled one of the most ambitious projects in their long and influential career: a 50th-anniversary album titled Teutonic Titans 1976–2026, bringing together a staggering lineup of metal royalty from across generations.
A Half-Century Celebration Of Heavy Metal
Formed in 1976, Accept have spent five decades shaping the sound of European heavy metal. Now, to commemorate that milestone, the band, led by guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, is releasing a career-spanning collection of reimagined classics on September 4, 2026.
Rather than a traditional greatest-hits package, Teutonic Titans 1976–2026 features 19 newly recorded versions of classic songs, each reworked with a rotating cast of guest musicians.
Metal Icons Unite
What truly sets the album apart is its jaw-dropping guest list. Accept recruited around 50 musicians from across the global metal scene, including members of:
- Metallica (notably Kirk Hammett)
- Judas Priest (including Rob Halford and K. K. Downing)
- Pantera (via Phil Anselmo)

- Ghost (featuring Tobias Forge)

The album revisits material from Accept’s golden era, roughly 1980’s I’m A Rebel through 1989’s Eat The Heat. Tracks like “Balls To The Wall,” “Fast As A Shark,” and “Metal Heart” are given fresh interpretations while preserving their original spirit.
