Legendary British guitarist Robin Trower is proving once again that the blues never ages. At 80 years old, the former Procol Harum member and Bridge of Sighs architect is back on the road in 2025, bringing his unmistakable guitar tone and soulful touch to audiences across the UK and the U.S.
This tour carries extra weight. In 2024, Trower was forced to cancel his American run due to a major health scare that led to surgery and months of recovery. For a time, fans feared his live career might be over. Instead, the guitarist has staged a remarkable comeback, blending resilience with celebration as he launches a fresh series of shows tied to classic reissues and new music.
UK Dates Kick Things Off
Trower began his return with a string of UK performances in May 2025, including stops at Buxton Opera House, Glasgow’s Oran Mor, Holmfirth Picture-drome, Birmingham Town Hall, and a special night at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Irish bluesman Dom Martin joined as support, setting the stage for Trower’s soulful, heavy-hitting sets.
Fans were treated to a career-spanning journey, from the swirling riffs of Too Rolling Stoned to the hypnotic grooves of Bridge of Sighs, alongside newer tracks from his 2023 album No More Worlds to Conquer and the 2024 follow-up Come and Find Me.

After his UK triumph, Trower is preparing to cross the Atlantic for a slate of U.S. dates in late summer and fall. Venues such as San Francisco’s Fillmore, Los Angeles, and Anaheim are already on the books, with more to follow. Given the cancellations of 2024, these shows mark his first American appearances in years, making them must-see events for longtime fans.
