In March 2025, Frank Ferrer, the longtime drummer for Guns N’ Roses, officially addressed his departure from the band after nearly two decades. Ferrer, who joined the band in 2006, expressed immense gratitude and appreciation for his time with Guns N’ Roses but also shared his disappointment over the end of this chapter.
The band announced Ferrer’s “amicable exit,” praising his creativity and solid presence throughout his tenure and wishing him success in future endeavors.
Ferrer’s departure marked the end of a significant era for Guns N’ Roses. His contributions were integral to the band’s rhythm section, especially during major tours like the “Not in This Lifetime…” reunion tour. His final performance with the band was in November 2023 in Mexico.
Following his exit, Ferrer was replaced by Isaac Carpenter, known for his work with Loudermilk and Gosling. The band continues to evolve, but Ferrer’s legacy remains a significant part of their history.
