Sammy Hagar has opened up about one of the biggest “what if” moments from his time with Van Halen, revealing that a song enthusiastically embraced by guitarist Eddie Van Halen was ultimately rejected by drummer Alex Van Halen, a decision Alex later admitted he regretted.
Speaking in a recent interview, Hagar recalled how the band missed the opportunity to record what he believes could have become a standout addition to Van Halen’s catalog. The former frontman said the experience remains one of the lingering disappointments from the band’s creative years together.
Eddie Was Sold On The Song
