More than half a century after The Beatles changed music forever, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are preparing to share a historic first: a full vocal duet together.
McCartney’s forthcoming album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, is already being described as one of the most personal and emotionally reflective records of his solo career. Inspired by memories of postwar Liverpool, childhood friendships, and the early days before global fame arrived, the album sees the former Beatle looking back on the streets and experiences that shaped his life.

“Ringo was from the Dingle, and that was well hard,” McCartney reportedly said. “He used to get mugged coming home because he worked. Even though it was crazy, it was home to us.”
