The new album, which continues his bold evolution as a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and frontman, features a blistering new track titled “From Dusk Till Dawn”, a song that perfectly captures his mission to bring emotional intensity and heavy rock swagger into the modern era.
In a recent interview, Wolfgang revealed that “From Dusk Till Dawn” came from one of those marathon late-night sessions where inspiration simply refused to rest. “I wanted to write something that felt cinematic, like a long night that never ends, full of chaos and reflection,” he explained. “It’s about pushing through darkness and finding your spark again, even when you’re completely spent.”
The track’s title, of course, nods to the cult 1996 film From Dusk Till Dawn, which Wolfgang says served as a loose source of inspiration for the mood and tone. “I love how that movie mixes danger, humor, and total madness, that’s what I wanted the music to feel like,” he said with a grin.
Musically, the song is a monster. Built around a thunderous riff and soaring chorus, it blends the punch of early 2000s hard rock with the kind of intricate musicianship that’s become Wolfgang’s trademark. His vocals, confident, melodic, and slightly raw, carry a maturity that reflects years spent carving his own path since Mammoth WVH’s 2021 debut.
While the track rocks hard, Wolfgang insists its real power comes from emotion, not just muscle. “It’s fun to have shreddiness and huge sounds, but even my dad used to say the best parts are the ones that make you feel something,” he said. “That’s what I’m always chasing, the feeling, not just the flash.”
From Dusk Till Dawn also highlights Wolfgang’s increasing confidence as a one-man creative force.
